How do you tie your sarong?
Beach scarves are the big trend this summer. Here are a few tips on how to look your best on the beach.
Tie your pareo to make a skirt.
Nothing could be simpler. Wear it low-waisted and tie a pretty knot in the side without crossing the sarong. The result is a pretty slit skirt that's just too gorgeous for strutting your stuff on the beach. Very chic with a white shirt and flat leather sandals. All that's missing is a wicker basket.
Turn your sarong into a beach dress.
Put the Rumi Su scarf behind you. Bring the ends forward, passing under your arms. Cross the ends in front of you and tie the corners of the scarf at the nape of your neck, and you're ready to go for lunch on the beach in the shade of the Parasol pines.
Transform a sarong into a Kimono jacket.
Summer evenings are always chilly after a day in the sun on the beach. To warm up your pretty summer dress, simply tie the ends of your large scarf on either side and slip on "this little jacket" by passing your arms through the "sleeves" you've just created. Easy and feminine.
